Our most gracious father in heaven, we are saying thank you for another beautiful day and week in Jesus name. We pray that you bless this for us in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

This new week the Lord through this devotional is leading us to a HAPPY HOME built in the will and purpose of God. What does it means to be happy? And to be happy as a home? Who and who are in the home that made it a home? These are too many questions to answer but the for the purpose of this week and this devotional, we will consider the family consisting of the father mother and children and what gives them joy.
To be happy is to be favoured by luck or fortune, enjoying well-being and contentment and the likes. While home is a place of residence, a unit formed by a family living together. Putting these definations together, we should be expecting a family living together fovoured and basically doing well in all ramifications.
This is actually the plan of God for mankind, that we enjoy every good thing available as an individual and as a family. And peradventure there is a need, we should ask and this Apostle Paul told the Ephesians the same “Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Philippians 4:4-6 (kjv).
David the Psalmist and the king of Israel was such a prayerful person and obviously thought his family to do because his entire life he seeks God as written in many of the books of the bible. He so much desires a family where things will be so confortable to all and not just him alone. He was anticipating a every members of the family prosper and he took it upon himself to pray that God will do this for the family so that the family will be announce HAPPY FAMILY tapping from God.
May our sons in their youth be like plants that grow up strong. May our daughters be like stately columns which adorn the corners of a palace. May our barns be filled with crops of every kind. May the sheep in our fields bear young by the tens of thousands. May our cattle reproduce plentifully without miscarriage or loss. May there be no cries of distress in our streets. Happy is the nation of whom this is true; happy are the people whose God is the LORD! Psalms 144:12-15(GNB)
Friend, this is one thing you must learn to do, tap your living and happiness from God in prayer, do not allow worry to take you away. Desire happiness and go for it. A HAPPY HOME is a nation that seek God and prosper through God.

This day I pray for you that your enemy will not laugh at you in the name of Jesus Christ. Every power of failure will fail and you will excel in Jesus name. your family will not know sorry rather, you will continue to experience peace and joy continually in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
