DEVELOPING PERSONAL PRAYER LIFE (Worry Is Not Prayer, Run From It)

Our father and maker, we thank you for bringing us another new month February 2024, it is our prayer that you will bless the month for us in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

“Never worry about anything. But in every situation let God know what you need in prayers and requests while giving thanks. Then God’s peace, which goes beyond anything we can imagine, will guard your thoughts and emotions through Christ Jesus.” Philippian 4:6-7 (GW)
In the epistle Paul to the Philippines church, He taught them another way of Developing Personal Prayer Life. While doing that, he identifies what many take for prayer which is out rightly not prayer called WORRY. For real we cannot shy away from this because many find themselves in this assuming their mind is prayer. Worry is one thing that does the opposite of prayer, kill the spirit while prayer raise the spirit, worry kill the body gradually while prayer energize the body and make it healthy.
He emphatically said “Never Worry About Anything…”, meaning you should not identify with it at all knowing fully that certain situations can come that might want to lead you to worrying. He said, don’t get into worry and was why he said pray because Prayer will go extra mile to give you joy even more than you desire.
Friend, in the place of prayer if you don’t know, always learn to say thank you because it is an act of appreciation. When you are able to develop your prayer life with God, you are guaranteeing peace of mind both in your thoughts and emotions. You know what this means? Good living both with mankind and God.
