Glory to Jesus!
This morning we are going to continue with our topic: “Your Little Beginning “.
Previously we discussed that most of us does not see need to be thankful unto God for just flimsy reasons. Either what we have is too small or say not enough to say thank you to God lest to appreciate someone who must have done good to us.
Jesus this morning want us to examine the mustard seed as a gift to nature. Gone are those days where we hardly see the mustard seed around us but this day it is as common as whatever we can call it. By size it is so small and you can assume this can never bring forth yield at all but Jesus taught the seed always bring about tree not just a flower tree but that which can accommodate life and give shelter.
“18 Thus Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God like? To what should I compare it?
19 It is like a mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the wild birds nested in its branches.” Luke 13:18-19 (NET)
I believe the little gift you have is an open investment Nations are waiting to explore. You can just be better than you are if your mindset is nurtured rightly. Despite your family background you can still be the mining site for values. You are bigger than the mustard seed and can bring about solution to situation around you.
All you need do is to appreciate yourself and be thankful for your existence. God is good and faithful to is all and He will multiply you and your given gift.
